TRANSPORTATION/DIRECTIONS

Do you have onsite parking? How much is parking? Is it included in my room rate?
Our Hotel ICON offers onsite valet parking for an overnight fee of $29 USD. Parking is not included in most rates. There is no onsite self-parking available.

Where is your Houston Hotel located?
Hotel ICON, Autograph Collection is located at 220 Main Street, Houston, TX 77002. Valet entrance is on Congress Street before Travis.

Do you offer shuttle service from the Airport?
Fare-based town car transportation can be arranged by calling our hotel at 713-224-4266. Alternate taxi and super shuttle options are also available from either Bush Intercontinental Airport or William P. Hobby airport to downtown Houston.

Is there any public transportation around your hotel?
Hotel ICON is situated on the 7.5 mile Metro LightRail line with direct access through Downtown’s Central Business District, George R Brown Convention Center, Texas Medical Center and the Houston Museum District.

L&L Bar has one of the longest Happy Hours in Houston, daily from 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm

  • Breakfast Monday – Friday 6:30 am to 11:00 am, Saturday – Sunday 7:00 am to 11:00 am
  • ICONic Brunch Saturday – Sunday 11:00 am to 2:00 pm
  • Lunch Daily 11:30 am – 2:00 pm
  • Dinner Daily 5:30 pm – 10:00 pm
  • L&L Bar Hours Daily 11:00 am – late night

PETS

How far do you have to walk to take your pet out?

Hotel ICON is located 1 block away from Market Square Dog Park where our four legged guests can be accommodated for all their outside needs.

Do you have pet free rooms for those with allergies?
Our Hotel ICON does not have allergen-free rooms.

Are pets allowed? Are there restrictions for weight, height or types?
We are always thrilled to welcome our four-legged guests to our pet friendly Houston hotel. There are no weight, height or type restrictions. There is an additional $20 cleaning fee per stay as well as a pet policy.

ACCOUNTING

What forms of payment are accepted to pay for my room?
We require a credit card for guarantee of a reservation, however payment by travelers check, credit/debit card, or cash upon departure is allowed. Please note that our Hotel ICON does not accept check payment at this time.

Please note, use of a debit card may result on a hold of funds in your account for up to 7-10 business days, depending on your bank. We do recommend using a credit card to pay for your guest room stay.

RESERVATIONS:

Can I earn Marriott Rewards Points for my stay?
Absolutely, as a member of Marriott’s Autograph Collection, you earn points for each qualifying dollar you spend at our Hotel ICON. For more information, please visit www.marriott.com/rewards

Do you have an early departure fee?
There is an early departure fee on some rates. If you reserved a refundable rate simply inform us at check-in or before, we can adjust your departure date. If you pre-paid your room through another company, booked a non-refundable rate or do not change your reservation by arrival time, there will be a fee for departing early.

Do you have ADA Guest Rooms?
Yes, please note the request for accessible room on your reservation.

Do you have connecting rooms?
We have Junior Suites that connect to Queen Queen Guest rooms. All other guest rooms do not connect.

Is my Identification or Passport required at check in?
We do require photo identification at check in for all reservations.

What is your cancellation policy?
Hotel ICON’s standard cancellation policy is 24 hours (*please note some reservation booking may have different cancellation penalties- review your confirmation itinerary for more details)

What is the minimum age requirement to check in to a guest room at Hotel ICON?
Guests must be at least age 21 to register at Hotel ICON.

Do your guest rooms allow rollaway beds or cribs? Is there a charge for this?
Many of our guest rooms can accommodate a rollaway or crib. Please let us know before you arrive of your request and we will ensure your guest room is set-up. There is no charge for a crib or rollaway.

Do you have smoking rooms available?
Hotel ICON is 100% smoke free with designated smoking areas outside of our hotel.
